It is the mission of Seniors in Stride to provide seniors and older adults with the highest level of service in senior relocation and transition via downsizing, rightsizing and remodeling. Seniors in Stride guarantees that its services will achieve a safe, accessible and comfortable home environment for every client. And, that our supportive, knowledgeable and professional staff always perform with compassion and care.
Seniors in Stride is owned and operated by Charlene Miskolczy. Educated in the areas of Business Administration and Health Studies, and with over 20 years of experience in finance, Charlene brings to Seniors in Stride a strong business acumen, project management skills, and a professional approach with an aptitude to problem solve.
Charlene is also a certified Professional Organizer and member of the Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) with acquired knowledge in space planning and custom floor plans, room redesign and system solutions. She is MHFA certified and able to quickly identify shifts in mental state with her senior clients. This combined with significant hands on experience with senior transition and relocation, Charlene inherently possesses a well-defined understanding of the downsizing process and the emotional and psychological elements involved.
As a big advocate of community involvement, Charlene is an active member in the senior community regularly volunteering her time to CHATS senior day programming, Taunton Mills Retirement and LTC, as well as assists with Grant Research and Development at the Canadian Arthritis Society.
Seniors in Stride supports a green environment, and has partnered with a designated Environmental Specialist to manage the safe and friendly disposal of purged items. Tyler Miskolczy, our Environmental Specialist possesses a B.A. (hons) degree in Environmental Studies from Carleton University, Ottawa. He works with us to research and design disposal programs aligned with Seniors in Stride’s environmentally-green policies. In managing our carbon footprint, Tyler makes every effort to avoid the use of landfills.
